Somatic Anti-Racism VIP Day

A One-Day Intensive for Clinicians Working at the Edge of Theory and Real-Time Practice

You likely already understand the importance of anti-racism and decolonizing work. You have read, reflected, and engaged deeply with these ideas.

And still—there are moments in your actual work where something shifts.

A conversation becomes harder to navigate.
A client names something that lands in your body.
A dynamic emerges that you understand conceptually—but cannot easily stay present with in real time.

In those moments, your system responds before your thinking does.

You may notice:

  • freezing or going blank

  • moving into over-explanation or intellectualization

  • a sense of leaving yourself in the interaction

  • difficulty staying in direct contact when race, power, or harm is present

This is not a knowledge gap.

It is a real-time nervous system response under relational pressure.

This VIP Day exists to work directly with that layer.

Not by adding more information—but by supporting your capacity to stay present in the moments where your system typically moves you out of contact.

Who this VIP day is for

This one-day somatic intensive is for helpers, therapists, coaches, and practitioners who are committed to engaging in anti-racism and decolonizing work in a way that is embodied, accountable, and relational—not just conceptual.

Many people who come to this work notice a similar pattern:

There is strong intention and commitment to anti-oppressive practice, but in real-time situations, something shifts internally.

Shame, fear, grief, anger, or uncertainty can arise quickly in the body and affect how present and responsive you are able to stay in the moment.

When this happens, it may show up as:

  • pulling back or going quiet

  • moving into over-explanation or analysis

  • difficulty staying in direct contact during moments of racial or relational tension

  • hesitation to act or respond clearly

  • a sense of disconnection from your clinical or relational presence

Over time, this can lead to patterns of inaction, over-intellectualization, or avoidance—not because of lack of care, but because the nervous system becomes overwhelmed in the moment of contact.

This work is focused on what happens in those moments.

Not correcting intention—but strengthening capacity to stay present when it is activated.

Boundaries of this space

This VIP Day is not a space for abstract debate, conceptual processing without application, or seeking reassurance about identity or intent.

It is a working clinical space focused on attention, presence, and real-time responsibility in relational and professional contexts.

It is also not about evaluating who is “good” or “bad” at this work.

It is about building capacity to stay in contact with yourself and others when discomfort arises—so that your values can actually be enacted in practice.

This structure is here to support clarity, safety, and depth of engagement for everyone involved.

The Transformation We Are Working Toward

This VIP Day is not about completing anti-racism work. That is neither realistic nor ethical.

This day is about supporting what you most want or need right now in your anti-racism or decolonizing journey, especially in the places where you feel stuck, unsure, or disconnected from your own clarity.

By the end of the day, you will have greater access to your internal resources so you can meet challenging moments with more steadiness, choice, and self-trust. Rather than getting pulled into overwhelm, shutdown, or endless self-monitoring, you will have a clearer sense of how to respond in ways that align with your values and responsibilities.

The work may include somatic exploration, reflection, practical application, or meaning-making, depending on what serves you best. For some people, this looks like more confidence in clinical or professional settings. For others, it supports leadership decisions, accountability conversations, or navigating relationships with greater honesty and presence.

What matters most is that you leave feeling more capable of engaging in this work without losing yourself, avoiding it, or making it harder than it needs to be. The skills and insights you develop are meant to be carried forward and adapted as your work continues.

What Makes This a VIP Day

This is not a workshop.
It is not a training.
It is not a performance of “wokeness.”

This is a focused, premium container designed for depth, precision, and real movement.

There is room for customization, but not for avoidance.

The day includes one clear arc of work:

  • A pre-day intake to identify where you are getting stuck, how your nervous system responds, and what situations feel most charged

  • A full-day, one-on-one somatic coaching experience focused on regulation, awareness, and embodied choice

  • Direct application to your real-world work so insights do not stay theoretical

  • Integration support so you can continue practicing without white-knuckling it

This structure allows us to go deep without rushing or overwhelming your system.

Investment and Availability

This is a premium offering, priced at $2,700 for the day.

The VIP Day is offered once per quarter, with limited availability. This pacing is intentional. This work requires spaciousness, attunement, and respect for nervous system limits, including yours.

This is a standalone experience. If longer-term coaching is discussed, it will only be because it feels genuinely supportive and aligned, not because it is expected.

Next Steps

If this work resonates, the next step is to apply.

The application is not about worthiness. It is about readiness and fit. This ensures the day serves you well and stays grounded in integrity.

If you are ready to move beyond being stuck in your feelings and into embodied action, this VIP Day offers a place to begin.
